Hello M6G,
decided to make a post build thread of my N/A 505+hp 2015 mustang GT, here is some very quick history - bought the car back in 2015 at the dealership in Korea while I was stationed at Osan AB - 2015 mustang GT Premium in Oxford white with the "redline" interior only other option was the 3.55 gears. the car is now FBO and was recently dynotuned putting down 440 whp/400wtq. the most interesting thing about the car is obviously the grille (link on that build in sig) also follow the build on IG @cheval_le_blanc thanks for stopping by.
ENGINE/POWER/EXHAUST:
GT350 Intake manifold
GT350 throttlebody
Steeda CAI
Pypes Longtube headers (catted)
Ford Racing X-pipe
ROUSH Quadtip Active exhaust
AED tuned
EXTERIOR/STYLING:
Custom Foglight grille (14 GT grille + 15 50th anniversary grille)
RTR chin spoiler
ROUSH rear valence
Euro clear tailights
Euro GT decklid
WHEELS/TIRES:
custom powdercoated RTR tech 7 rims (staggered)
micky thompson streetcomp 255/40 (front) 285/35 (rear)
SUSPENSION:
STEEDA Differential Bushing kit (street)
STEEDA IRS Subframe support bushing system
STEEDA IRS Subframe Alignment kit
CHASSIS:
Ford Racing Strut tower brace
STEEDA IRS Subframe Support Braces
BRAKES:
Stock. painted (red)
TRANSMISSION/DRIVETRAIN:
stock
INTERIOR:
GT350 steering wheel
"Axel-spin" dash trim (50th anniversary)
ROUSH active exhasut bezel+switch
Aluminum Paddle shifter extension
Now from the beginning!
first day picking her up
literally had these before the car and was officially my first mod...that i dont have anymore (replaced with gloss black vents with blinkers from the 2016)
Next up was the CDC Outlaw spoiler which again been replced with the RTR chin.
Next up exhaust! ordered up the ROUSH quad tip with the rear valence (passive) didnt get the active kit until recently.
Euro tails and the Euro decklid was ordered as soon as i could find them in 2016 which was hard to do (ended up buying them from a dealership in poland)
next on my list was to 'stop that hop' so a few Steeda suspension components was ordered
the Steeda CAI was the first engine performance mod ordered and I ended up running this setup with the insert and stock tune for almost 2 years until recently
NOOOW the grille project. this sucker took about 6 months total to be completing including figuring out how the hell I was going to do it. the full build thread is in my sig so i'm going to be brief and say I basically spliced a GT grille from the 2014 GT into the 2015 50th anniversary grille
after this was wrapped up the RTR tech 7 wheels with mickey thompson street comps was ordered. they came in gloss black and scuffed from shipping sooo i got a partial refund and used that to get the rims custom powdercoated to a 'steel pearlescent grey'
because i apparently love the products RTR puts out, the RTR chin replaced the CDC
I then moved to the interior and outfitted it with the GT350 steering wheel and aluminum paddle shifter extensions
the last interior addition was the 'axel spin' dash trim from the 50th anniversary models
Here comes the POWER. GT350s intake and throttle body was installed with Pypes longtube catted headers.
The car was dynotuned last month and it put down 440whp/400wtq adding either 15% to 18% drivetrain loss (auto here so i leaned to 18%) the 5.0 is cranking out 520hp!
the ROUSH active kit was ordered (the setup was way too loud for suburb living
and with that the 'build' is done (for now) also, totally random, but to my surprise the car was in the last American Muscle catalog
