Is it normal for my driver side breather to have more oil on it than passenger?

No idea but where did you get your breathers?

Possibly more cylinder blow-by and venting from that side for some reason.

First thought was something is wrong. But I did see before somewhere the drivers side tends to have more just wanted to see if that is case. If it is I would also like to understand why.

Positive pressure inside the engine is going to try and take the path of least resistance. The driver's side might have lower path resistance for some reason.

Ok thanks makes sense. I'm still going to be sure and check the spark plugs just to be sure.
A compression check might be worth doing also to make sure there isn't a weak cylinder on that bank causing excessive blow-by under boost.

I installed breathers on mine and had the same thing happening and then was told the nipple on the passenger side has a valve in it (what the breather attaches too). pulled the nipple off and removed valve, problem solve. It allows it too flow freely now. just have to remove the insides with a screw driver.

How come you FI guys go with an open breather setup instead of a closed system designed for FI? I would think using just breathers on the valve covers isn't going to have any flow through the crankcase to carry out moisture and blow-by very effectively.

I'm N/A and run them because no oil in the intake means better octane levels your getting to the motor. And on the dyno you can see the breathers are working just fine moving the air thru the motor. No oil on the valve covers like some will say. and as long as you don't down shift thru all the gears until you have stopped, you won't get the smell of oil either. and I had a catch for a short time and was getting a table spoon of oil in a week and felt like I would be emptying it a lot. I drive my car hard too by the way.

I run a large vented catch can that is mounted by the rear spare tire well. That way I don't smell any fumes etc.

With E-85 I produce moonshine nearly every tank.
