NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

Does it matter which USB port you use? The one in the center console or the one on the dash? I am trying the dash one and I leave the car for an hour and its still updating. I have Nav and am using a 16gb usb drive. Those with Nav, what steps did u take to update?

If I'm understanding the "how to install over Wi-Fi " video/instructions, if after you've connected to a WiFi network and you don't get a message saying "downloading new updates" then its not available OTA yet? I did everything in the video, went to owner.ford site to make sure it was available for me and I'm getting nothing. :shrug: Technology and I don't gel. :headbonk:

My car is 2017, build date of 09/2016. Should I do this?

Hi guys just joined to post here, I updated this morning with the usb method. The OTA frozen on me twice. Everything seems to be working, I was able to load AA, but my system is not showing "sync software 2.2", it is still showing the 1.0 version number on there. What should I do? I don't think is it causing any issues?

did you connect and activate AA right after updating without shutting the car off? you need to shut the car off and restart it, the new version will show up

yeah, I restarted car, and reinstalled and samething. It is working perfectly except the info screen is still showing 1.0. weird :shrug:

Had never attempted any update. Used the official ford version from the link on the first page of thread (Thanks!). Extracted the files and had only the files shown below in screen cap on the root of the drive. Used a 4GB flash drive formatted to FAT32. Everything installed in about 15 mins. My car does have Nav. I can't test it until the USB module comes in (mid next week), but seems to have updated fine.

Just looked again, must have changed since I restarted. Now it says NA 1 14.

Has anyone received the OTA for v2.2 HN1T-14G381-SA (Build 17011_PRODUCT) on a Non-Nav that had been manually updated to v2.2 HN1T-14G381-LG (Build 16280_PRODUCT) when that update was leaked/released to Lincoln?

Will the HN1T-14G381-SA USB download update work on a HN1T-14G381-LG car? Don't want to brick it!
