These were installed last week, today was bath day so figured I'd share some decent pics. These are JNC026 white wheels, 18x9 with +32 offset using 5mm hubcentric spacers (spacers required to keep the front hubs from pushing the center caps out!). Using these wheels in 18" means you must use a short valve stem for caliper clearance, I also discovered you must use a standard TR412 and band strap (using adapters) the TPMS sensors on to make these work (order wheels over the internet...expect some obstacles to overcome). In the end I am very happy with the appearance and am loving the 255/4518 Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ handling and ride quality.

I know many of you like 19" and 20", but I am a fan of 18" ride quality and appearance.

I love the look. Classy, Shelby like, and clean. Love your custom grille too. Only thing i dont like is window louvers. I personally have never liked them, just a me thing. Throw some tint on that pretty Stang. I too run 18x9s (black chrome fr500 look). Definitely get lowered, which is on my list soon. Too many mods to buy, lol. My 255s don't look right until it's lowered. I am going to 275s though for next set. I have vinyl on my tail lights that look great and I think would round out your look. Again great looking ride and I really like the rim choice!

Glad you like! Yeah, the louvre thing I took a chance on when American Muscle started offering them pre-painted. Once installed though, I was hooked. It's the only mod I have on the sides of the car so it's an otherwise clean look and fairly minimalist overall.

On the tail light vinyl, do you mean those CJ's black out kits for like $25? I was eyeing those.

No the half light vinyl kit. Like 15 bucks. Love them. I will upload a photo of the car tomm after her bath so you can see the rims and light vinyl. They cover one half of the lights and it leaves a very distinct rear end look without doing, in many states, illegal tail light tint. They would match your bumper trim and give a good contrast. They werent hard to install just time consuming when getting them lined up and dry.

Those look awesome man! I literally just made an account to reply to this, because you're the first person I encountered on the interwebs who prefers smaller wheels :p

As promised 18x9 (255/45, soon to be 275). Let's make this and 18 tire wheel size thread, lol.

Us 18"ers gotta stick together.

Love your ride, and yes those were the vinyl kits I was talking about (CJ has them, then AM launched their own). I've got my eye on those, to me they make more sense than those matte black tail light surrounds because they do the job of actually blacking out the sides of each light.

Hmm.....

Great looking ride, and glad you could join us!

The 18" is already an upsize from standard 17" on the Ecoboost, so even though I could fit more wheel under there I already like the ride quality and balance of wheel size to sidewall. I've never chimed into anybody else's thread to tell them their wheels look too big, but I notice on these boards people are quick to tell you that 18" are ruining your car. :frusty:

I came close to doing the 275's, maybe next set as they would fit on these just fine.

On a few "post your rims" threads a few v6ers are sporting some nice 18x9 and 18x10 looks. Most, not all are running the 275 on 18x9 rims square or staggered with 18x10. The 275 looks great in that rim. But nobody commemts on them , lol. When lowered it's just an awesome look. I do agree the wheel well in back is very big and looks real nice on 19s. If you run a large spoiler though I am inclined to lean on 19s since the proportions of the car change. I am going to do the grille delete with the GT grille I have already put on the car and do a custom quad tip job out back with the lower valance painted matte black, with lowering springs/shocks/struts to finish the stance. Possibly add some spacers.

Here's my 18x10.5 with 305's (Though I do prefer the look of larger wheels). These are one of the few 18's that clear the GT brakes.

It seems 9" is the ideal square width, and I greatly prefer being able to rotate non-directional tires traditionally with each oil change.
