I figured I'd start a build thread of my car. I've done a good amount already.

Back story to the car, I had a 1SS camaro 1LE before the mustang. It met an untimely demise when it was hit by a mustang haha. Great car.

So I got the mustang, I was a bit disappointed with the sloppy handling and light steering at high speeds when I first got the car. The shifter and transmission was beyond annoying haha. Obviously the steering can't be changed, so I've made changes to the suspension and engine.

So the first mods for the car was a steeda tune and a steeda CAI. This added a decent amount of pep to the car, not night and day or anything. I also painted the roush tips black. The next order of business was an X-pipe and lens tint. The tint was a bit time consuming but well worth it. The xpipe made the car sound amazing and a bit annoying on cold starts. Next step was 25mm spacers at all four corners. This greatly helped high speed handling and made the car look much better.

Into the mix, steeda transmission bushing insert, which was a waste of time. No improved shifting and a huge amount of NVH. Removed after three days. Next mods were MBRP off road headers and the SR cradle lockout kit. The headers with xpipe and roush mufflers was bit too much so I changed to a magna flow setup installed by a local. It's just right.

I'll be updating this thread later tonight. Gotta get back to work. here's the first couple pics.

So the header install sucked. No other way to put it. But it was very much worth it. Here are some pics of the headers along with the car with the spacers on.

So with the open box style of the steeda, you get increased IATs. It gets pretty bad down here in the south. To help combat this issue. I put a few layers of undercoat on the MAF housing and built a cover for it. Building the cover proved to be extremely difficult. I have never worked with lexan before. I plan on making another one that is prettier haha.

I made mounting tabs and tried a few different weather stripping materials. It all turned out like crap. But it definitely worked. Massive drops in IATs.

Also some pics of the headers installed for a tad over 1k miles. Also getting the hand built exhaust put on. Also upgraded to BFG sport comp 2s on the rear. Way better than the Pcraps.

Here's a few random pics with my car gang and the cradle lock out kit. This made a huge difference with the handling of the car. So much more responsive. I need to do the BMR front cradle brace now. I also installed a shaftmaster aluminum driveshaft. Had to pull it back out due to high speed vibrations. I also installed a GT350 intake and throttle body, along with lund tuning. Not too bad of an install at all. Driveability is great and having the extra powerband is great.

Stteda tune with LTs and stock mani, the car did 420/390

Installed the BMR diff lock out kit. Pretty easy install. Helps with shifts too. But you do hear some gear whine 50mph and up. It's not terrible though.

I then installed the barton hybrid 3 shifter. What a beautiful piece of work. Install went well and now it feels like shifting a top loader. Well almost. It looks great in the car too.

Pics of my buddy's car at my house and new tires waiting on wheels. NT05 305/35r19 rear and firestone firehawk indy500 285/35r19 front.

Blacked out the center of the bumper. It looks cool but I pulled it all off. It wasn't glossy enough and the edges looked like crap.

In this group of pics, I have installed an engine cover mounting kit built by a forum member. Fitmit is great. Close to the strut brace but it's fine.

My SVE GT350 wheels came in. They look freaking amazing! Gloss graphite and it's perfect. 19x10 and 19x11.

First couple pics are stock springs. Last is BMR SP080 springs.

Few pics of the crew. GT500, Hellcat, scat pack, G8, FBO termi. Couple pics of the car as it sits now. I'll hopefully have some updates soon. Cowl hood and some other goodies coming up.

Had to get the front of the car painted again, due to the previous shop doing a shit job.

Finalized the wot box install. Pretty fun so far. Can't wait to make some passes with it.
