Anyone running without any TPS's? I am getting ready to put on a drag setup and I read in another forum that the car will go into some kind of limp mode if it does not see at least one TPS. Any fact to this?

I dont think so, I have been running like that on my daily for a few months now.

Dont know if it will upset the traction control or anything, though.

I run my winters with no TPMS and the only thing affected is the light on the dash, I haven't had any wonky traction control or ABS problems. In fact it takes about 20 minutes of driving each day to get the light to come on. That's all four sensors off the car.

Same here. I have older style TPS sensors in my wheels and they don't cause any issues. I rarely drive over 40MPH for 20 minutes straight so the light rarely even goes off but sometimes it does.

No it won't limp mode or anything. It just shows a warning light on the dash.

It will not go into limp mode, it will just have tpms light on the dash.

I've been riding around with my TPMS sensors in my center console for a few days now, you just have to confirm "OK" when it warns your pressure is low. You will see a (!) on your tach gauge. No performance change here.

yep no limp mode...my car hasnt had them on since day one when I switched them out and that was over a year ago. just a warning pops up, you dismiss it and the tire light stays light in the rpm cluster
