Is that a typical thing for the driver side sun shade mirror to crack? Mine has that exact same crack pattern. I bought my car used so I'm not sure how it happened.

Im not sure. I actually bought a Homelink visor set on ebay, that had a cracked mirror there, just swapped out my good mirror and but the cracked one in my old visor.
