Am I crazy or does seem like a lot of money for something that is ultimately inferior to a brand new S550 that could be had in Premium trim for less money?
In terms of looks, luxuries, being newer and maybe performance sure the S550 wins. But the Boss 302, especially LS, is purely a collectors item by now and is holding value due to its rarity.

If you're buying a car to enjoy the S550 is an overall better ride. If you want something alot rarer and that will be a classic one day, Boss LS for sure beats a run of the mill GT.

This is a great way to put it. I loved every single day waking up and driving my 15 mustang around. When the zr1 option came up, I really was on the fence because I drive it daily(even though I have an older z71 tahoe I drive on rainy days) I ultimately told myself I can buy a new mustang whenever I want, but I may never have an opportunity to buy a zr1 for what I bought it for and its fun as hell....just not the daily the s550 is.

If you havent driven a Boss, you really should, its a baddass car amd definitely is different sensation over the 15 plus.

In the summer of 2015 I passed on a 2012 Laguna Seca down in the LA area with less than 7k miles. Guy took everything that was red and color changed to a Ford Blue Oval blue. Looked great on a silver car.

I think he would have taken 37m. He had tasteful mods done that I felt didnt harm the essence of the car.

I just didnt want a car loan with interest. 2 months later I bought my 15 GT perf pack at 0% apr.

I'd pick an S550 over a LS Boss 302, for DD duties. Now if this was strictly a weekend car, then hands down Boss 302.

The Boss302 Flat Out Roast the S550.
Takes a GT350 to beat it.
Of course I'm a straight line freak.

Damn- if it was in Cali I'd own it right now.
MSRP was $47,000+ (extra if it included the cover) plus ADM. Only 700ish Lagunas made in 12.
