ESE turn off via ForScan finally last post

I know the EcoBoost models pump in fake noise and use a sound tube.

Does the GT350 pump in fake noise?YES ESE

We do have Active Noise Control?NO ONLY ECOBOOST

Do we actually know how turn anything off?NO

Having unpinned the 6 "Noise cancellation" signals I can confirm the "Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE)" (fake noise) is now gone. Thanks to you guys for that.

I've read every thread on the mustang forum also on the F150. Lots of conflicting data I'm only concerned about the GT350 and looking for some consensus on what works.

Forscan gets it done.

I would say just open the window. Nothing fake about that noise.

So tell what 727-01-01 and 727-01-02 values to change on 2017 conv to turn off fake noise and ANC. If that easy then tell what to change on the DSP to stop bass roll off. Because seems each year 15-17 and what add-ons shows up as different as built.

Until FN & ANC are turned off your not going get loud or much bass. It would be nice if ANC would come back on when your doing hands free phone.

So even if you want to amp and put in DSP how is static DSP tune going deal with FN & ANC which is dynamic

We don't know shit about programming the PCM, Ford puts same head in lots of vehicles with lots of different features. Now maybe it is futile as I was reading about one shot memory. So maybe Ford takes a blank PCM decides it going into a mustang and fills its one shot memory will all mustang configs and all we can do is pick a different config with forscan. ???

It does I removed the stock radio the car sounds different

GT350R 920A has no "FAKE" sound, only : )

what does engine sound enhancement do? does it just make it quieter in the cabin or all around?

It adds some extra noises inside the cabin.

I know this sound enhancement is a fact and discussed all over the place, but has anyone actually ever heard sounds coming from the speakers (if so which one?)? I did a full blown listening study with my wife, but we concluded no engine sounds are being emitted from the speakers - also outside it is as loud as can be, so what reason is there to 'enhance'?

From the clips it turns out we have fake noise. The GT350 has it own unique version that no other mustang shares. After you view the clips is anybody sure we know what to shutoff?

Seems to me we need to disable the DACMC module which is in the PCM.
