Damn you Florida! There was no escaping it the other day, got caught out in the rain leaving work. Decided to finally try out weather mode. Felt totally confident with the car, handled well, the MPSS are great in the wet.

Caught a couple clips of some touchdown lightning, take a look!

Not a dedicated dash cam per se, just my GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition.

Very nice! I haven't seen a dash cam resolution that good. How do you have your Go Pro mounted?
Suction cup to the windshield. Quality is actually much better then what you see here, but I compressed it down for YouTube to about 8 Mbps. Original file is around 20 Mbps.

I just saw one on amazon $140 used. not sure about the warranty. probably 90 days

I didn't want to use a clip on my rear view mirror due to vibrations I see sometimes

I've been in worse in Cup 2's bringing the car home from the dealership on her maiden voyage. And the scary part is my tires were over inflated by 10psi. I took it extremeley easy but I didn't feel very confident.

Cool vid with the lightning touching down. I was thinking it would be raining hard, though. That was barely a sprinkle.

My weather mode get used quite often here.

One day I was on a dry autobahn in sport mode, then exited and that autobahn took me right into a downpour. I was very much losing traction until I changed modes (and slowed down).

They're a "go-to" choice for rainy track days . . .

Kind of neat catching the light show on video.

Well, I only cut the parts with the lightning strikes, but there were patches of heavy rain where people were throwing their hazards on driving 35 mph on the highway because you couldn't see 5 feet in front of you.
