Summer meeting(s) - Cars & Coffee - Suggestions? (16/09 Canceled)

As the title says, ideas, suggestions, dates & locations...

Update 1:

Just received a great proposition from RMS550 to do our little summer Cars & Coffee in the region of Leuven, meet up there, have a drink/lunch/pick-nick and do little road-trip to one or two lovely locations.

Now what we need from you at this moment are suggestions for a date in August/September, Saturday/Sunday? Maybe preferably in August, we might have more chance on good weather this way...

Ideas, suggestion, dates drop em below!


Update 2:

After long back and forth messaging to find a suitable date a date has been set of September 16th, location is still not 100% decided but the starting point would be at "Meerdaal bos - Meerdaal forest" in the Leuven area. The end point would be at the "Leeuw van Waterloo" "Lion of Waterloo" Napoleon's favorite playground. Optional we could drive to Villers la Ville through the ruins of Abbaye de Villers and then go to Waterloo.

If this date is fine then lets do it, suggestions for a spot to meet up with a large parking and optional drinks or lunch are very much welcome!

As of now, Sept 11 the weather doesn't look really good for the coming week & Saturday...

Update 5:

This morning (13/09) we decided to blow it off and cancel our little meet for various reasons. Not much participants, weather etc.
Next time better....

But instead we will be meeting at the Southern Classic - End of season meeting 2017 on Oct 29th.

Anybody know where to find info about car-related events in the Benelux area this summer (besides facebook)?

I was at the V8 brothers passed Sunday, had a few flyers behind window wipers. One of them is the 4th all American day in Ninove on the 15th of August.

For me only Saturday is possible for the moment.
As for region Leuven, best see also with PJ.
I prefer September but August could be possible too.

Saturday Sept 2nd then, I hope that's alright for everyone.
Will update post 1 later on, and give it my best shot to make some sort of a flyer and send out invites.

Suggestions for the meeting point so far are somewhere around Meerdaal bos (region Leuven). PJ @MustangMustHaves had a cool idea of a military parking spot. Place for lunch or a quick snack is still undecided.

To avoid any confusion, over the weekend I found out that there is way to much to do in terms of car meetings on Sept 2 & 3. So I'm looking at September 16th as a better date in a final attempt to put something together.

Would love to join in but not sure yet if possible. September is a killer month for me with work travel etc.....very close to me though

Hey Voodoo, still looking for a good starting point... PJ knows a great parking spot but it's on a military base and not sure if it's allowed to make use of it.
Also, what time? morning, noon or afternoon?
