Came out amazing! I will be testing it at the road course to see how well it draws the hot air from the engine bay. This is the only after market hood for the 2015+ Mustang that has been wind tunnel tested.

Did you race before? I am interested of it helps get air out from in front of the car. At higher speeds, feels like I am pushing bricks. Hoping a hood like this helps air go through the engine bay so it lowers pressure in front of the car.

Also, are you going to add hood pins? Looks extremely good, way better pics that website.

Love that hood. Weight savings?

Probably would have looked hot as unpainted carbon fiber too.

If you drive it in the rain, does water just run into the engine bay? Is that an issue?

When DRIVING in the rain it probably won't leak much into the engine bay. If you're parked and get downpoured on, sure. Not a hood for a daily driver.

I love this hood and plan to get one next year!

I disagree. I'm sure it would be fine so long as the modifications done under the hood could withstand water. For example, open air filters would be a no no, they would need to be contained.

So long as your engine bay is sealed up, I would think this would just as good as a DD as it would on the track.

Ok. Well since the stock hood doesn't let water pour into the engine bay when it's caught in the rain sitting in a parking lot while you're at the local barber shop getting a high top and a shave...

Probably my favorite aftermarket hood for the S550, looking great!

One of the issues I have been having with the stock hood(other then the common paint bubble problem) was that at speed the hood would lift up. Not an issue with this hood. I will be taking my Mustang to HPDEs next year almost every weekend since I live close to a track. I might add hood pins but I don't really like the look of them but I guess it a must if I am going to the road course.

The hood weighs 18 pounds. Very very light.

Not sure because I didn't drive it in the rain yet.

Thanks! You will love it!!! The hood was packaged very well and the fit was perfect out of the box.

How did the washer nozzles fit? Did you need the kit from American muscle to relocate to the wiper arms?

The body shop drilled some holes in the hood and the washer nozzles were put in....works just like OEM. No relocation kit was needed.
