Went to the local 1/8th mile a while back.
First time on MT ET Street BIAS PLIES.
Ran 16psi in them, dead hooking with a 5k side step off the clutch.
I could smell the clutch after each run.
My question is this:
Is there any merit in upping the pressures until the car actually gets a small amount of spin off the line? Kinda thinking it might help keep the revs up and give better MPH
I'm a total noob to drag racing. Best I could manage was 7.6/7.7 @ 94/95
I have DSS 800hp half-shafts ready to put in but honestly, it feels like the clutch will go first if I keep this up. :eyebulge:
