Almost 100% certain that this car is going to be a 5.2 with the new TVS 2650 supercharger. Packing over 700HP.
OH,........and it will have the widest tires ever on a stock Mustang. ;)

I think your right. Maybe with DCT only
Thinking close to 800.
It'll need compound the complete width of the car in order to put the power down decenrl :)

I guess we will see. It's hard for me to get excited about another supercharged mustang at this point. Not a total deal breaker but not super exciting either! I mean who at this point is or has not done that! Hopefully I'm wrong and they will blow us away with what they have been working on. I just find it hard to believe it's taken all this time and it will be another SC V8? Ford has been good as of late bring the goods so I'm at least hopeful!

Ok..I get everything else. What are the screws? Not a twin screw SC, but its gotta be something else. Something in the tranny? Nah... since he already mentioned the tranny part of it. Hmmm....

Regarding the ZL1 blitzing... maybe it will handle the ZL1 -L1E as well...if it comes in a specific package?

So 315's out back ? That was the bearing..(Love that movie)

They just need to do whatever they plan to do and release the car already. Or at least info.

DrumReaper, I'll say it again: you already bought the right car for you.
That’s so not true.

I bought ‘one’ of the right cars for me. Screw SC setups don’t impress me one bit... they’re a dime a dozen.

I could get behind the centrifugal, especially with the v charge...

But twin turbos would make my wallet vomit like it was on a dinghy in Katrina. Old techno, prone to heatsoak and weight issues, is not attractive.

I "assume" the yawn because it's "been done before"?
Or, you don't like the GT500 cars?

Agree we need 800 hp
Who knows bro? I said over 700HP. Could be 701, could be closer to 800. (Remember when the Hellcat was coming out back in the day? Dodge rumored it to have over 600HP and it comes out with well over 700HP. 707HP is what they claim, but dynos all over this GREAT American land prove otherwise.)
Either way, it "could be" faster and better than the new ZL1 LE. (That's what I am "hearing".)

This.

It's possible and it would put the Mustang in the power lead.

It would also spank the best out of Dodge and Chevy.

That's why.

Anyone asking why we need more power is in the wrong forum.

this is the Cobra/GT500 ultimate destructor mustang.

It needs to be very very special.

If it was just a supercharged car with bigger tires, it could have come out a couple years ago.
