I have began ordering the parts for my DIY project on how to replace the 2016 upper grille with a combo of the 2013/14 fog light grille and another 2016 oem grille. I bought the 2013/14 grille from eBay and also purchased another 2016 grille so I don't mess up with the one on my car currently ;). This will be a complete step-by-step instruction on how to do this so stay tuned as the parts come in sometime this week.

Disclaimer: Do this at your own risk, i'm not a mechanical expert but it should be fairly simple. I know this look isn't liked by everyone but I love the look on the earlier models so i'm very excited!

Hmm, I like the look too. Might be something I'd be interested in doing on my '17. Sub'd.

I like it, but maybe smaller lights due to the grille being smaller?

Sorry to beat a dead horse but any update? I have been trying to figure out a good way to mount some (generic) round spot lights behind my grill for a similar effect.

No dead horse; I, for one, like to hear ideas. I was thinking that I'd just make my fogs into something more (laser beams) not sure yet until I try aiming them.

Maybe adapting a reverse light fixture to the front,,,who knows!

Where are you getting your laser housings? Are you going with infinite beam length so you can cuz everything infront of you to bits as desired or fixed beam length like a light saber so you just take out the annoying frackers that drive 5 under in the left lane.

I wish I had those choices! For now I just aimed them up a bit, have to wait until dark to see if it helps.
