Seeing if you guys can help me.

I just installed the P51 wheels and love them. Went with Toyo 275/35/20 and 315/35/20 for tires.

Not much of a gap and all in the rear looks good. The front i would love to close the flap maybe .50” or so.

I will be add weight in the trunk as well. Carrying 2 amps, sub box,2 JL W6 subs plus sports gear of about 125lbs. So i think the back will drop just a little from that as well.

That being said what do you guys think about the front? What should I do?

Looks level on the street. My driveway is at a slight slope.

I’m looking to close the gap a little on the front wheel if i can. The rear gap looks good.

Don’t do it. I installed BMR springs on my pp gt over two weekends. I did the min drop springs on the front first and drove it for a week. It feels horrible stiffer at the front but stock pp at the rear.
My advice is to do both ends

socal2fast you could always try lowering it in the front first and see how you go. Potentially you're up for the rears anyway so nothing lost. I'm going to do front first with the SPO89/082 combo spring which is very close to PP rates, and the Steeda billet rear shock mounts.

v8hgt what spring # did you use? The combo above has rates very similar to stock PP, as do the SP080.

:doh:Just note that I have an Ecoboost Mustang and not a GT.

I just used the BMR SP089 Minimal Drop Front Springs with the GT PP Rear Springs. I installed the a larger rear sway bar and kept the factory front. I have the same size tire front and back tires. This setup for my Ecoboost mustang gives me the best overall track feel. If I had a staggered wheel setup, my suspension setup might be different. Just a note from AmericanMuscle.com: Stiffening one end of the car’s suspension will give the opposite end more traction, and vice versa.

Here is a link to see some of the springs out there:

Good Luck.

jrock glad you're happy with the setup, did you use the stiffer rear bar to compensate for the stiffer front springs?

Not really. The car still had a good amount of understeer after installing the front BMR stiffer springs, the rear stiffer PP springs and the GT350 strut tower brace.. The rear sway bar help corrected some of the understeer.

Yea the Steeda set up looks interesting. Do you guys think a half inch in the front would give me the great look but still have close to stock smooth ride?

What do you guys think of the Quality of the Steeda springs?

Will this do anything to my extended warranty plan and extended service plan that I purchased with or for 100,000 miles ?

Thanks

The answer on the warranty stays the same as your other thread regardless of what type of springs you go with.

I'd agree with others saying to grab a set of min drop springs and maybe throwing on the Steeda rear spacer if you're concerned on that. Shouldn't affect ride quality negatively.

Agreed the rates are close to stock PP but it felt weird until I put the rears on. May have been due to the front having a lower CoG and therefore rolling less, but the rear rolling more. I’m now running the BMR springs all round and it’s perfect with stock shocks for a daily. Sp080 and sp089 for reference.
Maybe installing a thicker rear anti roll bar on pp springs would have the same effect.
