I registered. I'm the 2017 Mustang GT in the participant list. First time AutoXing something as big and powerful as this mustang. Previously, I've only run a 2000 Focus and a 2014 Focus ST. Should be fun. Hope to see you there.

I saw you there. You were in the first run group. I've got a video of one of your early runs on my phone. Your Mustang sounded badass!

That was a well-run, fun Autocross event put on by Equipe Rapide. If you weren't able to make it to this one, there will be another on on 4/23 - Scheduled to be run at the Coral Square Mall, but might, as this one was, be run at the BB&T Center in Sunrise. It was my son's first AutoX; driving our old Focus ZX3 (with Koni yellows, H&R Springs, and Ventus-RS3s) and now he's hooked!

I made all 5 runs in Sport Mode and just kept getting a wider and wider grin as I learned to 'toss it around' a little bit more during each run. The oversteer was so predictable and so controllable, and so much fun! I traded my 2014 Focus ST for this 5-Liter RWD beast because I wanted to experience that kind of controlled oversteer. I was not disappointed. What a great handling car!

The BMR Cradle Lockout Kit no doubt helped with the controllability (is that even a word?) of the rear in fast turns - props to them for a great product.

There were 5 S550s there and mine was second quickest (thanks a lot, Abel! lol); 48.287 to 48.540. Not bad considering I was on a stock tune. I'll get you next time, Abel!

Let's get some more S550s there for the April event!

I believe that was Abel's Mustang, I was parked across from them....I was using number 99.

Not sure about next month, I will try but it depends on my work schedule.

NICE... they changed the date, it was scheduled for the 23. Now I have a better chance on making the event.
