Has anyone tried the MSD two step on a 6r80 auto car. I have a 3C converter and I am thinking about trying the MSD 2 step I have on it. I am currently running 1.43-1.48 60 foot times. It seems like the car leave better flashing converter but i need more seat time.

It only works on the 2015 model year. 2016-2017 have different coil packs or something so it doesn't work and you have to use the N2MB 2-step.

I wanted to use it but oh well :(

I called less than two weeks ago and they told me they don't have a release date for a product that works on the 2016+ model.

I use one. I use the stock line lock for burnouts. You can use the green and pink wire if you use line lock. If not it wont do a burnout because you are on the brakes and the 2 step kicks in.

Thanks. I assume the green and pink wire grounds when you press the brake or is it hot with 12 volts? I might tap into that and put a switch on it. Do you use the MSD line lock and have you had any issues with it? I am not sure it will help with the paxton but might help me cut a better light.

Plugs are different on the 16-17s. MSD doesn't have a solution or anything in development. Didn't stop me though..

Use a switch. tapping off the brake light signal is silly. too slow to react. unleashing the engine while your foot is still coming up off the brakes is a better way to flash the converter harder.

I think he was saying he was going to use a switch so he could use the linelock and use the the 2step.

What Jay is saying is put it on a push button so I can release it with my hand. I could do that but I don't really want the button on my steering wheel.

I think like the jms transbrake comes with a little switch with a flex cord that Velcro's to the wheel, or e brake, or wherever you want it. i'm sure something like that you can put wherever you want, just put some bullet connectors on it and remove when not at the track.
