Didn't even get the car yet and it has a recall-GO FORD!yeh baby.:ford::ford:2018 Ford Mustang recall to update instrument cluster software affects 2,167 vehicles

What if you promised to not be stupid and leave your Mustang in Drive or Neutral when getting out?Tried to pickup my new 2018 GT yesterday (just got here) but it was on a Ford delivery hold because of the recall (the recall just came out) and the dealer can't release it. Ford was indicating mid January for the fix.
Same thing I was wondering. The manufacture date on my 2017 was June 2017. Did they have 18s rolling through the same assembly at the same time as 17s? Seems like there'd be a good chance of parts from the 17s being installed on the 18s, and vice versa. How was there production dates that early?
There was a pic floating around of an 18 with one tail light from the 17 and one from the 18.Seems like there'd be a good chance of parts from the 17s being installed on the 18s, and vice versa.
There are zillions of pic like those, about Mustang misassembles. :ford:There was a pic floating around of an 18 with one tail light from the 17 and one from the 18.
Leaving your manual trans in neutral, and simply walking away, can easily result in the same.LOL:lol: Has anyone seen my new 50 thousand dollar Mustang ? Me: yea man it rolling down the hill toward parked cars.
Rolling towards that crowd at the Cars and Coffee... but damn she sure is a good looking car...LOL:lol: Has anyone seen my new 50 thousand dollar Mustang ? Me: yea man it rolling down the hill toward parked cars.
Are you asking if the fix is out or saying that it is?part outs coming!!!!
