2017 Performance pack - $2995
2018 Performance pack - $3995
Difference, performance rear wing vs spoiler delete and available on automatic cars.
So did Ford look at the $6500 1LE package and say, hey we can charge more?
Problem is that package has a lot more in it.
Add $1695 MagneRide Damping
$895 Active Exhaust
$1595 Recaros
And you have a still not competitive $8180 Performance Pack plus car (is this what the PP2 is going to be?). Even here you really need to spend another $2000-4000 because you can't get the MagneRide or Active Exhaust without a $2000 interior upgrade, and the old cloth Recaro option seems to have gone away requiring a Premium trim car to get Recaro seats.
And this more expensive upgrade is still short (compared to a 1LE):
An inch to inch and a half wider wheels & tires.
2 piece rotors, and 4 piston rear Brembos
Track ready transmission & diff coolers
Head Up display
Suede wrapped flat bottom steering wheel
And a probably superior Electronic Limited Slip.
So the basic PP needs to go back to under $3000 and the PP2 needs to add a lot of content at a reasonable price to compete with a 1LE.
