Grille-mounted headlights are a distinctly retro look, but as usual with the Ford Mustang there are few classic design features that are off limits when considering which modifications to perform on the latest and greatest Mustangs.
M6G member BlackGT dipped into the retro well by using round grille mounted headlights off of a 2005-09 Mustang on his 2015 Mustang GT convertible.
By drilling holes in the S550 grille and clever use of household items for the trim surrounding the headlights this Mustang owner then filled the back side of the cans with fiberglass body filler after painting the units satin black to match the grille.
The end result is a modern take on the dual grille-mounted headlights found on previous generation Mustangs.
