Our friends at aFe Power have just developed and released their new 1-7/8 16-gauge 304 Stainless Steel mandrel bent headers for the 2015 Mustang GT.
A four-to-one collector is used to reduce the amount of turbulence inside the header which then amplifies speed in the exhaust gases for increased power, torque and throttle response. As evidenced in many previous tests, aFe found the factory exhaust manifolds to be restrictive towards higher RPMs and developed their long tube headers to be high flow for more power towards mid-to-higher RPMs.
In its in-house Dyno Jet testing, aFe found an increase of +13HP and +19lbs-ft. of torque on the factory OE tuning.
