The Shelby GT350R Mustang has started testing at Watkins Glen International this week in preparation for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen weekend from June 25-28.
The Multimatic Motorsports team was spotted working on the GT350R and running laps around the legendary race track. Two GT350R Mustangs are visible — wearing #15 and #158 — both outfitted with BBS wheels, roll cages, hood pins, tow hooks, heated front windshield glass and gutted interiors. Curiously, one of the GT350R Mustangs has the standard North American side mirrors while the other is fitted with the larger European side mirrors.
The two-day test days on Wednesday and Thursday of this week have been open to the public and viewable from the Fans R 1st Viewing Area of the facility.
