We are only a few months from the planned opening of order banks for the 2016 Mustang and those who held off buying the first model year are undoubtedly wondering what changes we can expect for the second year.
As usual, the enthusiasm and knowledge base of Mustang6G members comes through to the benefit of the entire Mustang community, as early information has been gathered on the 2016 Mustang.
We already know from the 2016 colors brochure that the exterior colors remain largely unchanged with the exception of Black changing to Shadow Black. What else?
Our dealer friends tell us that the California Special package (which in the past has been stripes/wheels and other cosmetic upgrades) returns as an option on Mustang GT models. The GT also receives options for a black painted roof and accent stripes. On the inside, you can expect Ford’s new and improved Sync 3 infotainment system and a new interior color called “yellow jacket.”
