You may know by now that the 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang comes with extra stiff 19″ aluminum alloy wheels clad in state-of-the-art Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (305/35 ZR19 rears) with sidewall construction, tread face and compound specifically for the GT350. Ford has stated that these custom tires are designed to delivery maximum grip on the road and track.
Even for those who are not in the market for the GT350 Mustang, you may be interested to learn that Michelin has indicated that its 305/35ZR19 Pilot Super Sport tires are scheduled to be introduced on June 15, 2015.
While we are still a few months away from Ford releasing full specifications on the GT350 Mustang, it looks like enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on a set of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport 305/35 ZR19 tires well before the first production GT350 rolls out on them.
