Take a gander at the 2013 Shelby Mustang revealed today at the 2013 New York International Auto Show. The Shelby 1000 is built off of a 662-horsepower 2013 Shelby GT500, making it a high-end Mustang with a howling 5.8-liter V-8 and packing an astounding 1,200hp or 950hp for the street-legal version. The Shelby 1000 was showcased at the Ford floor display near the main entrance of the Jacob Javitz Center.
