Ford Unveils 2018 Mustang GT Performance Pack Level 2

We’ve been talking about it for months on Mustang6G.com ever since it first showed up in the 2018 order guide, and now Ford has officially announced the long-anticipated 2018 Mustang GT Performance Pack Level 2 (PP2) which we previewed for you last week.

The overall package not only bridges the performance gap between the GT Performance Pack and the Shelby GT350, but also gives the vehicle a new lower, aggressive stance to go along with its fine looking aero parts and unique 19-inch wheels.

So what exactly is included in the PP2? Everything already included in the 2018 Mustang GT Performance Pack Level 1, namely – unique chassis and antilock brake tuning, unique stability control and electric power-assisted steering, Brembo™ six-piston front brake calipers with larger rotors, a k-brace, larger radiator, silver-painted strut tower brace and a TORSEN® rear differential with 3.73 axle ratio — and adds:

Redesigned front splitter and rear spoiler, 19-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, custom tuned MagneRide dampers, retuned steering calibrated for quicker responsiveness, and stiffening of various suspension components to make for better handling around corners with less body roll.
