Now that the 2018 Mustang has been shown to the public, we’re getting our first listen at the new optional active valve exhaust feature on the 2018 Mustang GT.
The GT model now has a customizable audible experience with a “fully variable soundtrack that matches the entire acceleration range” of the updated 5.0-liter Coyote. To make this happen, Ford has given the refreshed Mustang GT standard quad-tip exhaust. They even made the active exhaust valve behavior a storable setting in the new Mustang MyMode with memory function.
