Ford Motor Company capped off a record year China last year, with sales surging 23-percent in December 2016 in the world’s largest new vehicle market.
The 1.27 million vehicles sold in China in 2016 was helped by strong demand for a variety of vehicles in Ford’s expanded lineup in China, including performance vehicles such as the Ford Mustang.
Ford performance vehicles continue to attract Chinese customers, with annual sales of the Ford Mustang up a stellar 45-percent.
