MAK Performance recently released a new 4″ inlet pipe to improve airflow for the ProCharger HO Supercharger Kit with some very impressive test results.
The MAK inlet pipe kit replaces the stock silicone elbow with a 4″ mandrel bent aluminum elbow with 3/8″ PCV valve bung, allowing for greatly improved airflow to the ProCharger head unit as well as eliminating the possibility of the silicone elbow collapsing under high boost.
Airflow is further improved with a larger S&B Powerstack Air Filter and straight silicone coupler.
In MAK’s own testing at Kesatie Motorsports on a 2015 Mustang GT with a HO ProCharger Kit with HO intercooler, the automatic transmission S550 was strapped to a Dynojet 224X and with just a swap of the stock silicone elbow and larger S&B air filter, saw a delta increase of 40HP, 18 lb-ft of torque and 1 PSI of boost.
