Mustang owners are always looking to add more power. Even some Shelby GT350 fans will tell you the only thing that may be missing from the coveted 5.2-liter engine is more horsepower because well, there is never enough.
Vortech Engineering has joined the growing number of supercharger manufacturers in bringing its own power adder with its new V-3 Supercharger System for the 2015-17 Shelby GT350.
This system features billet aluminum and steel supercharger mounting plates for rigid mounting. It also has all aluminum mandrel belt tubing and a huge 900+ horsepower-tested 24”L x 13” T x 3.5” Charge Cooler core.
We saw this supercharger system demonstrated at SEMA and the company claims it is putting down 713-horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque at 6psi boost in a vehicle that put down stock baseline power of 525-horsepower and 429 lb-ft. That’s a 36% increase in horsepower and 25% increase in torque for those keeping score.
